I haven't done a fashion post in far too long. Truth be told, it's mainly been due to a lack of time and a dash of laziness.. oops. But, when I was contacted by a company called Tobi, it was just the motivation and inspiration I needed to start posting more fashion content again.
I was asked if I was interested in picking out a few pieces from the website to feature in a post and after checking out and loving the kind of stuff they had to offer, I accepted! So I chose a few items and in today's post, I'm going to show you an outfit I created using some of them - I hope you like it!

In total, I received three pieces from Tobi - two of which you will see in this post and another which you'll see later on on my blog. What I loved about my picks and what the site has to offer overall, is the simplicity in design. I love stylish pieces that can be multi-functional and Tobi has so many items like this that can be dressed up or down and in a multitude of different ways. So many of their pieces are staple items that never go out of fashion.
The Outfit
So, as mentioned in this post, I'm going to showcase two pieces out of the three that I received.
In this first outfit, I went for a casual look with a loose fit, striped t-shirt and ripped knee skinny jeans. This kind of look is a go-to for me; it's comfortable, practical yet still stylish and with an edge too.
The Lauren Choker Striped Tee has a really pretty choker design and a plunged, v-neck cut. The bagginess of the t-shirt sets off the plunge of the neckline which makes it perfect for casual wear yet still really wearable for a night out or something a little more dressed up. I love this piece because it's so versatile and really suits my kind of style perfectly.
With the tee, I wore the Mateo Distressed Skinny Jeans - they have cut outs on the knees with an edgy frayed design. The fabric these jeans are made out of are sturdy and really good quality - I can tell that I will get a lot of use out of these. They aren't super high waisted which is what I would usually go for but they do sit nicely and I find them to be really flattering on the figure. Jeans are a staple in my wardrobe and I can already picture several outfits with this piece of clothing!

I teamed these pieces with my favourite Levi's denim jacket and my Adidas superstars to complete the look. I also added a black side bag to accessorise. I really like how this outfit came together and it's one that I will be wearing a lot - I think it's perfect for everyday wear and mixes the perfect combination of feminine and edgy style which I love!
