REVIEW: MUA's Mosaic Blusher in 'English Rose'.

Hey guys! I've got a review for you on my blog today and it's going to be on MUA's Mosaic Blush in the shade 'English Rose'.

MUA describes this blush as their 'hero face product' and states that it contains four shades that when blended together, create the perfect natural shade. Upon looking at the product, the blush itself looks interesting and you do get a good amount of product. The main packaging however isn't much to sing about but for such a low price tag from the products in the MUA range, this isn't a big deal.

The blush isn't majorly pigmented on first application with a brush. Although shimmery, it takes at least two applications for me to actually see any colour payoff on the cheeks. As I said, it is shimmery which makes this blush a good highlighter too in my opinion, especially considering it is such a light shade. I'm fairly pale and the fact that this colour is so light tells me that as a blusher, it may not be ideal for those with medium to dark skin tones but would be good used as a highlight instead along the cheek bones.

There is a little bit of fall out which I find is always the case with most shimmer products. This is not too overpowering though and shiny either, it's just enough to give your face a nice glow. After two applications, it does give a nice light pink blush to the cheeks along with a highlighting effect to the face - great for a Summer look.

Overall, I quite like this product. As I said, it shows up on my skin (which isn't the fairest but I am still quite pale) with around 2-3 applications - so in terms of pigment it may be a tricky product for darker skin tones. It might not be for everyone because of the shimmer, but if you're looking for a nice, Summer blush that is natural and will provide you will a healthy glow then I think this might be worth a try.

REVIEW: MUA £1 Nail Polishes!

Hey! I have another review for you all in todays post. I'm going to be reviewing MUA's recently released range of £1 nail polishes!

So, I currently I have 6 shades of this nail polish and they are as follows: Bright Coral, Fever Red, Frozen Yoghurt, Bold Blue, Lush Lilac and Deepest Purple. These are slowly becoming my favourite nail polishes and I shall tell you why..

For starters, they are just ONE pound - how good is that?! They are also packaged really nicely. It's very simply but still pretty - they remind me of Essie bottles.

Secondly, for their - the quality is amazing. These polishes are nicely pigmented and will go opaque in about 2 coats which is great for me. They dry quickly as well which is always a bonus.

These polishes have very decent staying power as well and usually last around a week or longer for me with only minor chipping which can be expected. There's a great colour range and I particularly like the shades of purple and pink that they have on offer.

Overall, I would seriously recommend these polishes. They are super cheap and are great quality. You really can't ask for better than that. For a quid, you might as well give them a go!

Another Mini Makeup Haul!

Hey! I have a really small haul for you all today. I picked up a few little goodies from Superdrug and I'm going to share them with you. Enjoy!

First off, I got this Extreme Curl Mascara from MUA. I've tried this mascara before and for the extremely bargain price, I wanted to get it again! It's actually a very decent mascara and I do quite like it. It definitely does curl my lashes and it's worth a look if you're not too sure about trying it!

Secondly, I picked up Collection's Fast Stroke eyeliner. This is a liquid eyeliner in an ink pot style and I have one in the shade 'brown'. This one is of course the colour black which I wanted for when I want a more dramatic eye look.

Thirdly, I picked up this very pretty lipstick from NYC. This lipstick is in the shade 'blue rose' and it's a bright pink with blue undertones.

REVIEW: Collection 2000's Cream Puff Lip Creams!

Hello! Today I have a review on you on Collection 2000's Cream Puff Lip Creams. I have using these for a little while now and I have heard a lot about them. So, I thought a review was due soon and that's what I've got for you all today, enjoy!

I bought two shades of these lip creams: Cotton Candy and Powder Puff. Cotton Candy, as you can probably guess by the name is a very petty, pink lip cream with blue tones in it. It's very pretty and with one coat still looks quite natural in my opinion but it can be built up very easily so it becomes more of a Barbie pink shade.

The second lip cream I got was in the shade Powder Puff and this one is a light, nude shade. It's very natural looking but I do however find this particular one can make the lips look a little bit too dry so I like to go over them with a nude gloss. It is very pretty however and is perfect to team up with a very dramatic eye.

Overall, I really like these lip creams. I do not usually like a matte finish on the lips but with these, I really do. They don't make the lips look TOO dry and they do retain that little bit of dewiness and moisture to them so they feel quite nice on the lips. The creams also have a very nice, pleasant smell to them which is always a bonus. I would definitely recommend these lip creams, especially for the tiny price of only £2.99.

Hello! Today I have a makeup of the day post for you all. I went for a neautral eye and a bold lip today. This look uses pink tones with the blush and the lip products used, enjoy!

SO, as always I applied a light moisturiser to my face and primed my lips with a little bit of lip balm. I then applied my foundation and concealer. I used my Maybelling Dream Fresh BB cream instead of actual foundation because I wanted to go for a really light, fresh look. I concealed with my Rimmel Stay Matte concealer stick. 

Moving on to the eyebrows and eyes.. I lightly filled in my brows with a mid brown eyeshadow. I then primed my eyelids with my Elf primer and then applied a very light, shimmery champagne eyeshadow to the the whole lid. In the crease I applied a light, shimmery brown and blended it out, deepening the colour of the outer corner and working inwards just a little bit. I highlighted my brow bone with a light white shadow and I lined my lower lid with a mid eyeshadow and blended this out. I then applied my favourite mascara and the eyes are complete!

Back onto the face, I used my Sleek Face Form kit to first contour my cheekbones. I then highlighted the top and length of my nose and along the top of my cheeks with the shimmery highlight colour in the kit. For my blush, I used my MUA blush in the shade 'Marshmallow'. 

For the lips I applied my Collection 2000 Cream Puff lip cream in the shade 'Cotton Candy'.

I topped everything off with a little bit of my Rimmel Stay Matte powder to eliminate shine and shimmer in places I didn't want it!

And that is the look COMPLETE! Tah-dah!
