What's in My University Bag?

Hey guys! So, as you can see from the title this is going to be a 'What's In My Bag?' University Edition. 

My going out / non-Uni bag isn't too different from this with a few exceptions, but I will at some point probably do a post on that as well. Anyway, enjoy!

River Island Bag - £25.00

So, this is the bag that I will be using for University for now. It's from River Island and I got it as a Christmas present, as I chose it however, I know it was purchased for £25.00! 

What I really like about this bag is it's simple, classic design. I really like plain, black bags just because they pretty much go with anything. It's also surprisingly big so I can fit everything I need to in it easily which is important for me. I love shoulder bags as I find them the most comfortable to wear and I like the additional chain detail on this one.

CASTELLI 2015 Diary, WHSmith - £9.95

The first two things I'll be keeping in my bag are my diary and pencil case. I was looking around for a good, quality 2015 diary which had all the dates laid out within it and I found this one whilst in WHSmith. It has everything I need with room for notes under each date as well a whole page to jot stuff down. It also has a calendar within it, as well as other useful information!

 Second is my pencil case which I also received as a Christmas present. This is a Cath Kidston pencil case and is only the start of many other CK things you'll be seeing in my bag...

Next off, I have a perfume and my makeup bag. The perfume is Vera Wang's Princess and it's one of my all time favourites. I keep this in my bag because it's such a cute, petite size and so it fits perfectly. It's handy for days when I perhaps have forgotten to put any perfume on or when I need freshen up! I got this in a recent haul from Debenhams for just £20 as part of a gift set!

Yeah, so I wasn't kidding when I said you'll be seeing more Cath Kidston in my bag - I'm pretty obsessed with the brand. This is my makeup / essentials bag that I carry all sorts of things in. I'll probably do a post about just what exactly is in it so stay tuned for that!

Of course, at University you take a lot of notes so a notepad is a necessity. I recently bought this massive Pukka Pad from Tesco and I really like it particularly because it has dividers in it as well as slots for spare bits of paper. This means I can keep myself organised which is something I love to be!

And what do we have here? Oh.. another Cath Kidston product. This is just a cute little notebook I bring with me for any Uni related notes I need to make; whether it be on assignments or things to remember!

In my bag I also carry this super old wallet that I got a while back from River Island. It's just a purple purse with hearts stitched in it as well as some studding. It's a great size for carrying what I need with room for change, too!

I also have my bus pass and keys - the bus pass case and lanyard are both (shockingly) Cath Kidston purchased from Selfridges! I also have a cute little key fob from her and probably my favourite ever key chain: a little Thor's hammer!

Beats Solo HD's - £170.00

Bus journeys are long and I need something to wake me up in the morning. That's where music comes in and of course with that, comes headphones. I'd been debating over Beats for a long time and finally last year, I got some! I absolutely love them but don't wear them enough for the price so I've decided to make sure I always bring them with me so I will!

Now we're getting into the last few things I keep in my bag... I firstly of course have my iPod to go with my headphones this is just the 4th or 5th generation Nano. I have had this for years and I've kept in mint condition. For me, it was the perfect size and I will be using it for many more years to come until it gives up on me!

I also carry a mirror because you know, I can be a little vain and like to check my makeup and hair now and then! I also carry a little lint roller just because I have animals and animals mean fur on my clothes!

And that brings us to the final item in my bag which are these cute, knitted gloves from Forever21. It's cold in the UK - need I say more?

OOTD: Birthday Edition - 13/07/14.

Hey everyone! So I'm back today with a birthday outfit post. Yesterday it was my birthday and I turned 20, eek. I firstly did a little spot of shopping (expect a birthday haul) and then I went out for a lovely Chinese - I came home feeling well and truly stuffed but boy it was delicious.
I got some amazing gifts and generally had a really good day, I feel truly grateful for everything I received and for the birthday messages I got as well. I still don't quite feel like the adult my age tells everyone I am but I'm looking forward to the next few years to come and to see where I will be then and what they will bring.

Anyway... onto the outfit. I wore my new romper from Forever21 which I really love and I teamed that with a denim jacket and some ankle boots:

 Hey guys! I've got an outfit post for you all today. Apologies for the lighting and camera angle, I'm still figuring out the best way / place for outfit photos so bare with me! 

So, I got a new blouse from Forever21 that I really wanted to wear today - I got a really good deal on it as well as I snapped it up from their online sale! As you can see, it's just a striped, chiffon blouse and it has a high-low cut ever so slightly. With this, I wore some blue high-waisted jeans and some black ankle boots. It was a little chilly so I just wore my lightweight hooded parka and then to accessorise, I wore a chunky gold chain necklace. That's pretty much it!

Hi there! I've got an outfit post for you today..

So I just went food shopping and I wanted to wear something cute but still quite casual and comfortable.. I'm wearing this light grey smock dress - a recent purchase of mine and I really love it! With this, I wore a wine coloured cable knit cardigan. On my feet I wore some cut-out buckled ankle boots. 

I also have on a black satchel as well as a spike necklace to accessorise. As a hair accessory, I have a black hair scarf that I just put into a bow.

OOTD: Dr Martens!

Hey guys, today I thought i'd do an outfit of the day post for you all. I got some brand new boots recently (my FIRST EVER pair of Dr Martens) and this is the first outfit I wore them with.

So, I wore this baggy, studded denim shirt firstly. This is a staple shirt for me as it goes with pretty much anything and everything. I wore the shirt open and i teamed it with this flowing vest with cute black and white detailing of a girl on it.

With the vest and denim shirt, I wore a black tube skirt and black tights. And finally, I wore these beautiful floral Dr Martens. I absolutely love these boots and I know they are going to go with so, so many outfits. I wanted something a little bit different than just standard black which is why I went for these lovely things!

Today's post is an outfit of the day, enjoy!

I wore my light wash denim jacket on top of this black and white polka dot vest. It has a long zip in the middle of it and is fitted around the chest. This is great to wear as part of a casual outfit or can be dressed up.

With these two, I wore some simple black skinny jeans and some black lace flats.

What's in my bag?

Hey! So today I thought I would do something a little bit different. I don't know what it is but I love what's in my bag posts and videos and I am always looking at them. Therefore, I thought it was time I joined in and did one myself! Let's get started..

So, first off this is my bag. It is a tan coloured messenger bag from River Island. It's a medium sized bag and has a zip all around it that allows for a little more space if needed. I love this bag and the colour especially - it goes with basically everything. I accessorised the bag a little I guess you could say by adding some badges of my favourite bands. Now - what's inside?!

So, the first thing in my bag is my make up bag. This bag is from Cath Kidston, it so pretty and I love the design. I just carry in it things to touch up my makeup with! I bought this from Asos.

I also have my purse in my bag. I got this as a gift but I know that it is from River Island. It has loads of card slots and compartments and I love the design of this purse. It also has a pull out strap so that it can be used as a clutch!

Next off I have my glasses. I got this cute black rose case from eBay and my glasses are from Optical Express. They are Dolce and Gabbana frames and of course prescription lenses.

Also in my bag I have my umbrella. I love this umbrella so much, it is polka dotted which is also a winner for me and I think it looks really retro too. This is from Cath Kidston and was bought from Asos.

My iPod is something I always carry around with me. I love this thing and considering commuting to Uni means buses everyday - this is going to be with me daily!

I also carry with me hand cream and hand sanitize. Germs are everywhere and it also good to have clean hands so that's why I have my Soap and Glory Hand Maid with me. I also sometimes get quite dry and sensitive hands which is why I carry with me this mini Cath Kidston hand cream.

I have this little rose shaped contact mirror which is also a brush. This comes in handy if i wanna put my hair up or need a mirror to touch up!

In my bag I also carry this cute little tin with me. It used to have mints in it and now I just use it to carry some aspirin and stuff in as I tend to get headaches.

I think there's a certain brand trend in my bag because I have yet another Cath Kidston product in it! This time, I have cute little floral bus ticket holder.

I also have this Simple body spray which doesn't really need much explaining! It's in the scent True Love.

Finally, I have this super cute USB in my bag. I will be using this for Uni work when I start in a week or so and I absolutely love it. I am a massive Batman fan so this is not only useful, but pretty cool too!
