Hello everyone! I hope you're all having an awesome week so far. Today, to ease myself steadily back into blogging once again, I thought I'd share with you a collective NYX haul. NYX recently became available in Boots stores around the UK - as an American brand that was previously difficult to come by, this is super exciting for a makeup junkie like me! In today's post, I'm going to briefly go through all the things I've collectively purchased - enjoy!
NYX's concealer range is often spoken about in the beauty and blogging sphere and so is colour correction. I picked up this green concealer to test out its abilities to cancel out redness and blemishes on my skin.
Whilst "baking" with loose powders seems to be their most popular use right now, I actually finally decided to buy one due to the constant creasing I'd experience in my under eye area. As a girl with skin on the dry side, loose powder were something I'd always strayed away from. However, from just a few uses I'm already really impressed with how the loose powder makes my face look as well as it's oil / crease control!
As a self confessed lipstick addict, naturally I wanted to check out the lipsticks that NYX had to offer so I purchased some of their matte lipsticks. I got 3 more neutral shades and a deeper purple shade which I've yet to try out!
I've recently decided to give primers another go as part of my makeup routine and so I decided to try the Angel Veil primer from NYX after reading some positive reviews on it. So far, I really like how silky and smoothly it allows me to apply my makeup - watch this space for a review on it coming soon.
HD Powders are light reflecting and are well love for creating beautiful, flawless finish on the skin that is perfect for special occasions and flash photography. I decided to give the HD power a go despite seeing some of the horror story photos of those who have been a little too heavy handed with it!
Whilst I'm not usually a fan of lip gloss, one of the few that I do enjoy is NYX's Butter Glosses - they have pretty awesome pigment for a gloss and smell amazing too. I decided to grab this shade as it's perfect to layer over nude lipsticks for a glossy finish.
