Current Favourite Autumn/Winter Lip Colours!

Hello! In this post, I thought I'd share with you my favourite and current most used Autumn/Winter lip colours. Enjoy!

So, lately and usually at the time of year I opt for purples, berry reds and pink colours on my lips. The first lip product I'm going to show you is a lip stain. This is MUA's Kiss Proof lip stain in the shade 'Fruitilicious'. This lip stain lasts for ages, it's easy to apply and it looks lovely and has great colour pay off.

Next off, I have another MUA product - a lipstick in the shade '4'. I love MUA's lipsticks and for the price of just a quid, you really cannot go wrong. This lipstick is no different and it's this really nice, simple pink colour with a glossy finish. Not quite a Autumn/Winter colour, but one i've been wearing and linking nonetheless!

Thirdly, I have this Versace lipstick to show you all. I LOVE this lipstick colour and it is so, so pigmented. Even the tiniest bit on your lips can completely cover the whole of them. This colour is very build able and you can make it super dark if you wanted too. It's very creamy and has a matte finish.

This next lip product is one form Collection 2000 and they are called Creme Puff lip creams, I love these products and the particular shade I am wearing most lately is in 'Fairy Cake' which is this lovely mauve colour. These creams last for ages, they are go on very smoothly and feel quite nourishing on the lips despite the matte finish.

And finally, we have Barry M's lip lacquer crayons in the shade 'Cherry Red'. I really like this shade, it's very classy and would go well with a simple winged eyeliner look. This has little bits of shimmer in it and as a product will definitely last ages because of it's jumbo pencil form. It glides on nice on the lips and has a buildable colour.

REVIEW: MUA KissProof Lip Stain.

Hey guys, today I thought I would post another review! This review is on MUA's KissProof Lip Stain. So, I picked up one of these lip stains from Superdrug in the shade 'Fruitilicious'. This lip stain promises to get rid of the problem of 'bleeding lips' and lipstick that does not last all day.

You can these lip stains in 3 natural shades and they are extremely pigmented. They have a mild scent to them that isn't too overpowering and I found that the the felt tip itself is very wet and there is a lot of product on it. I like this because sometimes I find that other felt tip lip stains can be quite dry and difficult to build upon in terms of colour.

This lip stain does NOT smudge or bleed which is great! It lasts for a good for hours and it dries fairly quickly. I would recommend putting a gloss or lip balm on top however as it can make the lips look a bit dry.

As I said so, it is very long lasting and you can definitely eat and drink without worrying about it coming off.

This lip stain retails at £3 and you can get it from Superdrug or via the MUA online store. This is really good lip stain and it definitely keeps its promises!

My Daily Makeup Routine!

In this post I thought i'd share with you my every day makeup routine; what products I use, how I use them and all that good stuff. My every day makeup is a spin on a classic natural pin up kind of look and it's my go to when I am in a rush to get ready!

So, to begin: I always moisturise my face to prime it and I then apply my foundation. The foundation I am currently using is Rimmels Wake Me Up foundation. I apply it with my Real Techniques buffing brush. Sometimes, I like to stipple my foundation on and then buff it in!

Once I have applied my foundation, I move onto concealer. I use my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer. I just apply this using my index finger under my eyes and a little bit on the lids to get rid of discolouration and I also apply anywhere where there still remains a little bit of redness not covered by my foundation.

I then set my foundation and my concealer with powder. I use my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and I pat it onto my face lightly using my Real Techniques buffing brush.

Once my face is done, I move onto my eyebrows! I like to use powder on my eyebrows to fill them in. I use a Revlon brow powder duo which has a mid brown and a dark brown powder in it. I use a Real Techniques slanted eyebrow brush to fill my eyebrows in with short, feathered strokes.

Moving onto eyeshadow, I like to keep in quite natural. I firstly highlight my brow bone using a shimmery white shadow. Then apply a light beige shadow all over the lid and a mid brown on the outer corner and into the crease. I blend this out and up towards the brow bone a little bit. I then apply a darker brown shadow onto the outer crease, blending it out and keeping it on the lid and working it into the crease.

After applying my eyeshadow, most days I will wear a cat eye. To create my cat eye, I like to use a liquid liner and the one I am using at the moment is Collection 2000's Fast Stroke. I also line my waterliner with a black kohl liner.

To finish the eyes, I curl them and then I apply my favorite mascara which at the moment is L'Oreal's Telescopic Mascara in black.

Moving back onto the face, if I am in a hurry I will use my Face Form palette from Sleek which has blush, highlight and contour powder in it. I apply the blush on the apples of my cheeks and outwards a little bit using a fluffy powder brush that i got from Boots. To contour, I suck in my cheeks and apply the contour powder onto the hollows of my cheeks with my Real Techniques contour brush. Using the same brush I higlight with the highlight colour, applying it along my cheekbones and along the length of my nose.

Finally, I base my lips with lip balm and then apply a lipstick of my choice. Usually I go for my Soap and Glory Cheekmate lipstain or a coral/pink shade from MUA.
